The program establishes academic excellence as its main goal while it works to achieve gender equality in STEM fields which are normally dominated by men. The applicants should submit their applications for multiple degree programs that match their professional objectives and study preferences at UK universities.
The World Scientific Engineering (WS-E) initiative by the British Council intends to encourage enhanced diversity and inclusion among professionals in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related fields by facilitating access to high-quality global academic institutions and networking opportunities for women throughout South Asia, while also establishing an expansive network of women in STEM as leaders who can provide insights into worldwide innovation and development.
To be considered for the program, applicants must meet all necessary qualifications as specified and demonstrate leadership potential in their respective fields of study prior to submission for consideration as candidates for scholarship funding via WS-E.
