India, Greece Discuss Higher Education Cooperation

Synopsis:  Egypt and Greece discuss expanding cooperation in higher education and scientific research through joint academic programs, research partnerships, student exchanges, and technology-driven educational initiatives.

 

Egypt’s Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mohamed Ayman Ashour, held discussions with his Greek counterpart to strengthen bilateral cooperation in higher education, scientific research, and academic exchange programs. The meeting reflects growing educational collaboration between Egypt and Greece as both countries seek to expand partnerships in innovation, technology, and university development.

During the talks, both sides explored opportunities to enhance cooperation between Egyptian and Greek universities through joint academic programs, faculty exchange initiatives, and collaborative scientific research projects. The discussions also focused on promoting student mobility and increasing institutional partnerships in specialized fields including digital transformation, artificial intelligence, engineering, and applied sciences.

The ministers emphasized the importance of international academic partnerships in improving education quality and supporting sustainable development goals. Egypt highlighted its ongoing efforts to modernize the higher education sector through expanded research capabilities, innovation-driven learning models, and stronger international engagement with European institutions.
