Macquarie University offers AUD 40,000 scholarship to Indian students
Macquarie University will offer scholarships worth AUD 40,000 to students of Indian nationality wishing to study at the education institution, under the Early Acceptance Scholarship for the 2025 and 2026 batches.
The Australian education institution will provide an annual scholarship value of AUD 10,000 to students undertaking undergraduate and postgraduate courses which would contribute towards the tuition fees for the courses at their Sydney Campus. The scholarship will be based on merit for all courses, which include Banking and Finance, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Analytics, Medicine, Arts and Media and Communication.
Students apply for the grants at any point in their course, whereby any student applying to any program will be eligible for the scholarship. Students of the maximum four-year bachelor’s programme will be eligible for the maximum amount, up to AUD $40,000.
In a recent announcement, the university stated that international students on campus who want to apply for the scholarship must satisfy specific conditions to be eligible for the scholarship. The student must be an Indian citizen, receive the Letter of Offer and accept it before the deadline, pay the commencement fee before the deadline indicated on the Letter of Offer and remain enrolled for each compulsory study period.
Additionally, the student must not hold a government sponsorship or scholarship which pays for full tuition fees, unless the Macquarie University Scholarship Team approves the funding arrangement.
