The Scholarship for Academic Excellence provides significant financial support to deserving students from Rajasthan who gain admission to prestigious international universities.

The program provides financial aid to excellent students who require assistance to fund their undergraduate and postgraduate and doctoral and post-doctoral studies at institutions that rank among the top 150 universities according to QS World University Rankings.

The program provides students with financial aid that reaches a maximum of ₹50 lakh per year which they can use to pay for tuition and bench fees and their basic living costs depending on their household income.

Eligibility for applicants requires that they be residents of, and not exceed 35 years of age while receiving admission into an eligible foreign university, and have achieved at least 60 percent of the maximum possible marks in the qualifying examinations.

Assistance will be provided based on family income as follows as low-income families will receive assistance for all living expenses plus full tuition costs, higher-income families will receive approximately 50 percent assistance only with respect to tuition and bench fees.

The purpose of the program is to allow high-achieving students from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds to attend high-quality educational institutes without having any financial barriers to doing so.

The application process needs applicants to provide essential documents which include their Jan Aadhaar Card and income certificate through the official RajSSO portal.

The selection process  which evaluates 200 students every year reserves 30% of its available positions for female applicants while most awards distribute to undergraduate students studying engineering architecture and medical and dental fields.

The scholarship program enables students to study at prestigious international universities which lead to their acquisition of higher educational qualifications.
