UEA Offering a Range of Scholarships for Indian Students
The prestigious University of East Anglia (UEA), one of the UK's top 25 universities, has announced a range of scholarships designed specifically for Indian students across a variety of academic programmes. These scholarships, which cover tuition, housing, and living expenses, are available to both undergraduate and postgraduate applicants for the academic year 2024-2025.
The UEA India Award, worth £4,000, is given to Indian postgraduate students studying in fields such as Economics, Humanities, Engineering, Chemistry, and Law.
Eligible candidates are automatically qualified after meeting the UEA's entry requirements.
• UEA India Undergraduate Scholarship: High-achieving Indian students seeking undergraduate degrees at UEA can benefit from a £4,000 tuition fee reduction for the first year of their programme.
• Global Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship: This prestigious scholarship recognises outstanding international students with an offer to study undergraduate programmes at UEA. Valued at £4,000 annually, exceptional applicants may receive up to £10,000 yearly.
• Sonny and Gita Mehta India Scholarship: Tailored for talented Indian writers, this scholarship supports studies in UEA’s Department of Literature, Drama, and Creative Writing. Valued at £28,500, applicants must submit a separate application.
• David Sainsbury Full MSc Scholarship: Available for candidates applying for the MSc in Global Plant Health, this scholarship covers the entire tuition fee (£31,500), provides a maintenance grant, and offers an additional £4,000 for travel expenses.
