University of Birmingham Offers 125 Dubai Scholarships with 50% tuition aid
The University of Birmingham Dubai (UoBD) announced the launch of the 125 Scholarship initiatives, marking the institution’s 125th year through support of exceptional students to allow them to study at its Dubai campus.
The 125th Anniversary Scholarships will be awarded to high achieving international students, including students from India, who demonstrate high achievement and passion for shaping the future.
Students applying for courses starting in September 2025 can apply for the scholarship covering up to 50% of course fees, across key disciplines - engineering, health, business, education, law, computer science, and life sciences.
All potential students for Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes will be considered, and successful awardees will be shortlisted based on their academic merit.
Commenting on the scholarship, Professor Yusra Mouzughi, Provost, University of Birmingham Dubai, stated, “We are proud to introduce the ‘125 Scholarship’ as a tribute to 125 years of transformative education and ambitious research at the University of Birmingham. This initiative reflects our commitment to empowering changemakers who will contribute to the UAE’s vision of a knowledge-based economy. By investing in high-achieving, future focused talent, we aim to strengthen the local workforce and drive meaningful impact across key industries. We are very proud of our legacy and civic impact over the course of more than a century. What better way to celebrate 125 years than through enabling and empowering the changemakers of tomorrow in the UAE.”
Located in the centre of Dubai's academic city, the UoBD provides students with the same academic standards, teaching quality, and student experience as the UoBD's UK campus. With an emphasis on career preparedness and industry collaboration, it has become an attractive option for Indian students wanting to earn a degree internationally and in closer proximity to home.
