USD Launches Online Master’s Programs for Indian Professionals

The University of San Diego (USD) has introduced a range of online master’s degree programs tailored “specifically for professionals working in India.” These entirely online courses concentrate on essential technology areas, offering MS degrees in Applied Artificial Intelligence, Applied Data Science, Cyber Security Engineering, and Cyber Security Operations and Leadership.
The university states that these courses were previously accessible only to students in the United States but are now available to learners in India for the first time. The programs are entirely online and asynchronous, enabling students to finish the 20-month degree at their own speed without participating in live sessions.
The announcement highlights that GradRight has been appointed as the outreach and student access partner for the initiative in India, assisting potential students with the admissions procedure and providing support during the entire course period.
The format enables students to finish assignments at their own speed while achieving well-defined weekly goals. According to a statement from the university, these master’s degrees are full-stack programs from the University of San Diego, matching the academic content and credentials of their on-campus versions.
The curriculum is created by academic professionals with practical industry knowledge and is assessed each year to guarantee it matches ongoing real-world issues and technological progress. The programs are offered in English, necessitating proof of proficiency via IELTS (minimum score of 7), Duolingo (minimum score of 120), or completion of two years of previous education in English.

Students also have the option of a two-week on-campus immersion in the US, providing chances for in-person interaction and networking.
Applications are currently being accepted for the Fall 2025 semester, with a submission deadline of August 1. Courses start on September 2, 2025. Candidates must possess a 4-year undergraduate degree with a minimum of a second division, or a 3-year degree with first division.
The overall expense of the program is around Rs 10.49 lakh. USD is providing scholarships to qualified students in India to enhance access to these programs. Financial assistance seeks to lower obstacles for talented individuals aiming to develop expertise in new technology sectors.
