The course will enable students and working professionals to gain strong technical expertise in the recycling of plastics, besides developing skills in design and delivery of circular packaging solutions. The course will guide learners on different materials used in packaging, their lifecycles, and the proper disposal of such materials.
Designed as a hybrid learning programme, this course combines practical training with traditional classroom learning and real-life working experience in the plastics recycling industry.
This syllabus is tailored to address the anticipated skill deficits in plastic recycling technology, sustainable packaging design and creating circular economy solutions within the real world. It also places special focus on India’s rapidly changing regulations regarding plastic waste management, including extended producer responsibility (EPR).
