Schaeffler India Hope Engineering Scholarship Program 2026

Schaeffler India Hope Engineering Scholarship Program 2026 aims to encourage and support financially weaker female engineering students by providing financial assistance and mentorship during their undergraduate studies. Launched in 2019, the Program aims to increase the representation of women in engineering, and equip them to pursue successful professional careers with academic and professional support.

Eligibility for this scholarship is for the female students from all over India studying first year of engineering course in any UGC/State/AICTE recognized institution. Candidates must have scored 60 per cent in Class 12 (Science stream) in the past academic year 2025-26 or 40 per cent in the case of candidates with disabilities (PwDs).

Annual family income should not be more than ₹ 5 Lakhs. Students with disabilities and engineering fields like Automobile, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Production, Instrumentation, Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology are given preference.

The selected candidates are awarded a scholarship of ₹50,000 per year for 4 years and receive mentorship from the Schaeffler India professionals to boost their academic performance and career growth.

Bridging this requires companies to move upstream by partnering with educational institutions to run structured skilling, mentorship, and career awareness programs well before hiring begins. These need not be lengthy interventions - even short, focused engagements that expose students to real industry problems and working environments can meaningfully shift their readiness and confidence,” says Sanjay Kataria, Vice President & Managing Director - India and Rest of Asia (non-China), Inteva Products.
