“Higher education can change more than a trajectory : it can shape a legacy. I know this because my own journey has been anything but linear. I dropped out at 17, returned to university years later, and continued learning even after being diagnosed with ALS. At each turning point, education became a lever to realign my life with my purpose. Today, time feels finite, and that clarity forces a simple question: what do we leave behind? Scholarships are not just about access, they are about activation. They give people, at any age, the means to fully become who they are meant to be, and to translate that into impact on others. In that way, a scholarship does not only transform a life, it echoes through every life that person will touch,” says Jean-François Champagne, Interim Vice-Rector, Human and Organizational Development, UQAM.

Conclusion

The scholarships that will be available in 2026 show clearly how much effort is made by educational institutions, corporate organizations, and charity organizations to offer accessible quality education. Starting from helping school children and future engineers, up to enabling students to study abroad and get education on advanced technology, there is a wide range of different educational needs.

Apart from relieving the burden, such scholarships promote innovation, academic excellence, leadership, and professional skills of students. Scholarships allow students to reach their high aspirations and develop the necessary skills for the future career.

With the development of the education in competitive and technologically developed world, scholarships will continue to play a significant role in creating equal chances for everyone and developing new talents.
