IIM Calcutta and the ed-tech platform Imarticus Learning have revealed the introduction of an executive program focused on Private Equity and Venture Capital. The program is tailored for financial experts and business owners.
The seven-month live online course will combine academic principles with practical knowledge from IIM Calcutta's finance professors and experienced private equity and venture capital experts.
This course will assist finance professionals and finance entrepreneurs in maneuvering through the evolving investment environment. The program will cover fundamental and advanced subjects, such as deal sourcing, valuation, financial modeling, fundraising, portfolio management, and exit strategies.

In line with the changing trends, the curriculum will encompass the complete investment cycle, including digital and regulatory components, according to the press release. Moreover, it features master classes led by experienced professionals from PE and VC who will provide direct insights into the evolving PE and VC fields.
The program will offer students individualized guidance, coaching in leadership, and psychological assessments. Additionally, attendees will gain access to exclusive master classes led by industry investors, providing practical insights into deals and investment trends.
Upon finishing, they will obtain IIM Calcutta executive education alumni status, granting them lifelong access to the institute’s worldwide alumni network, exclusive alumni portal, and email domain.
In addition, IIM Calcutta and the ed-tech firm Emeritus have collaboratively introduced a 12-month Advanced Programme in Supply Chain Management.
The program will concentrate on equipping participants with sophisticated supply chain techniques, interdisciplinary leadership positions, and the capability to enhance overall profitability via automation and practical exercises in class.
The program will take place virtually starting June 29, 2025. Any individual with a graduate/diploma or postgraduate degree and over three years of experience in supply chain management is qualified to apply. The participants are required to pay Rs 4.60 lakh (inclusive of GST).
After successfully finishing the programme, participants will be awarded a certificate from IIM Calcutta and will have the chance to attain the IIM Calcutta Executive Alumni designation.
The programme may be perfect for mid to senior-level professionals engaged in purchasing, production, inventory, logistics, and supply chain roles, or those in the service or manufacturing industries, who wish to gain insights and industry-specific strategies to enhance the changing dynamics of supply chain management.
