IIT Delhi Launches Online PG Diplomas in EVs, Healthcare

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has launched three new online Postgraduate Diploma programs designed to enhance the skills of professionals and students in in-demand fields - Healthcare Product Development and Management, Electric Vehicle (EV) Technology, and Advanced Communication Engineering, incorporating Quantum and AI.
The one-year diploma programs are created and conducted by leading IIT Delhi instructors in partnership with industry specialists. Individuals involved in these programs will likewise obtain affiliate alumni status from the institute.

The Centre for Biomedical Engineering (CBME) offers a PG Diploma in Healthcare Product Development and Management, a 12-month program designed to equip professionals with skills to innovate and market healthcare technologies. The program covers biomedical innovation, regulatory structures, product lifecycle approaches, and market preparedness, plus an optional two-day campus immersion for networking opportunities.
It is available to applicants from biomedical engineering, life sciences, biotechnology, healthcare, or similar areas who possess a minimum of two years of industry experience.
The PG Diploma in Electric Vehicle (EV) Technology, developed by the Centre for Automotive Research and Tribology (CART), supports India's shift towards electric mobility. The program includes three on-site immersion sessions at the IIT Delhi campus and addresses a broad spectrum of EV technologies and relevant industry challenges. It is perfect for engineers, technologists, entrepreneurs, and professionals looking to enter or progress in the EV sector.
PG Diploma in Advanced Communication Engineering with Quantum and AI Integration, provided by the Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management, merges cutting-edge areas like Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Networking, and next-gen wireless communication.
Individuals with academic backgrounds in ECE, EE, CSE, IT, Data Science, Mathematics, or Applied Physics are qualified, and it prepares graduates for role as Quantum Communication Engineers, Telecom AI/ML Specialists, 5G/6G Network Engineers, Quantum Cybersecurity Specialists, etc.
