IIT Bombay, Jaro Education Launch CTO Programme; Registration Open

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, in collaboration with Jaro Education, has introduced the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Programme, an 8-month online course aimed at providing senior technology professionals with the skills needed to thrive in strategic leadership positions.
Entry into the IIT CTO program will depend on a candidate's educational background, work experience, and interview performance. The Programme Coordinators will assess all profiles and create a shortlist.
To be eligible for this program, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Science or Engineering, from a recognised university. They should currently be serving in a senior leadership role such as Vice President of Engineering/Technology, Technical Director, Chief Architect, or an equivalent position.
Applicants are expected to have between 8 to 20 years of professional experience and be senior managers from SMEs or large enterprises who aspire to transition into CXO-level roles. Additionally, they must have responsibility for managing a technology budget of INR 10 crore or more.
The program focuses on mid to senior-level technology leaders, including CTOs, VPs of Technology, IT Directors, and senior architects driving significant digital transformation and innovation initiatives. Offered via live instructor-led sessions, practical case studies, and team projects, the curriculum highlights the changing impact of technology on business strategy development.
Participants will acquire in-depth knowledge of new technologies, enterprise IT governance, digital advancements, and leadership competencies crucial for maneuvering through the intricate business environment of today.

Upon successful completion, participants will obtain a Certificate of Completion from Educational Outreach, IIT Bombay. The Educational Outreach office at IIT Bombay addresses the knowledge enhancement and skill development requirements of professionals in industry, academia, and governance.
