IIT Delhi has launched an advanced online programme in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to provide learners with essential skills needed for developing emerging technologies.

The institute offers the program through its Continuing Education Programme (CEP) to accommodate fresh graduates and working professionals and people who want to switch to AI-based careers.

The program demonstrates the increasing need for professionals who possess skills in data science and machine learning and deep learning across multiple industries.

The course delivers complete learning outcomes through its combination of theoretical and practical studies. The program consists of essential AI and ML modules together with programming basic knowledge and advanced deep learning and generative AI content.

 The program includes practical projects and real-world case studies which students will use to demonstrate their acquired knowledge. The programme uses interactive learning methods through live online sessions which IIT Delhi faculty and industry experts present.

The programme runs for six months while providing work professionals with two options to learn through weekend classes and scheduled online classes.

The program requires applicants who completed engineering or science degrees or equivalent fields to apply, but non-technical applicants who want to study AI are also permitted to submit applications. The process of choosing candidates depends on their educational qualifications and work history.

Participants who complete the program successfully obtain certification from IIT Delhi, which helps them advance their careers in data science, AI development, and analytics.
