The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has launched the Certificate Programme in Data Science and Machine Learning, a six-month program aimed at providing early and mid-career professionals with the skills necessary to excel in a data-driven environment.
The initiative focuses on equipping participants to utilize data science proficiently across various business areas, whether it involves mastering Python and machine learning techniques or engaging with real-world data sets.
The Certificate Programme in Data Science and Machine Learning is ideal for early and mid-level professionals aiming to establish a solid foundation in data science and machine learning to enhance their career opportunities.
Professionals managing software development or machine learning projects seeking to enhance their knowledge of data-driven decision-making may also take this course.
Upon completing the programme and achieving at least 70 percent attendance, participants will obtain a certificate recognized by the industry from the Continuing Education Programme (CEP), IIT Delhi.

A structured curriculum aligned with industry standards aimed at developing both basic and advanced skills in data science and machine learning. The program provides live, interactive online sessions conducted by esteemed IITD faculty.
The course is set to commence on June 29, 2025, and will be held over six months via live online sessions with the instructors. The fee for the course is INR 1,50,000 plus GST.
Graduates (10+2+3)/ Diploma holders (10+2+3) from a recognized university (UGC/AICTE/DEC/AIU/State Government/acknowledged international universities), having at least 50% marks in Mathematics or Statistics in their 12th exam, are eligible to apply for the programme.
