IIT Gandhinagar Launches e-Masters in Machine Learning for Engineers

• IIT Gandhinagar introduces a 2-year e-Masters in Machine Learning for professionals in engineering and technology fields.

The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar has introduced a specialized e-Masters Degree Program in the Applications of Machine Learning in Engineering, aimed at providing professionals with in-depth knowledge and practical skills to effectively incorporate machine learning into essential engineering fields.

The initiative seeks to promote innovation, efficiency, and optimization throughout areas like manufacturing, automation, predictive maintenance, energy frameworks, and intelligent infrastructure.

Created especially for working professionals, the two-year program provides a flexible structure with live interactive classes set for evenings and weekends, alongside self-directed learning modules. It is important to mention that a GATE qualification is not necessary for admission.

Candidates are required to possess at least 55% marks or a 5.5 CGPA/CPI in one of these qualifications: a four-year BTech/BS degree in a related Engineering or Technology area; a five-year Integrated Master of Science; or a five-year MCA, MSc, or BS-MS program (or an equivalent credential). Moreover, completing mathematics at the Grade 12 level is a compulsory requirement.

The e-Masters program lasts two years and includes six modules, with each module lasting 12 to 14 weeks, totaling 52 credits. Essential features consist of entirely live sessions, an adaptable learning framework, limited group sizes, a residency aspect, career advancement assistance, mentorship, and alumni recognition from IIT Gandhinagar.

The fee to apply to the program is INR 1,000 to be paid at the moment of submission. For selected candidates, payment schedule will contain a registration fee of INR 1,50,000, which must be paid in two weeks upon selection, and a tuition fee of INR 7,80,000, paid in six instalments, for a total program fee of INR 9,30,000.
