IIT Mandi, Nagent AI Launch Hybrid No-Code Programme
- IIT Mandi and Nagent AI offer a hybrid program to build no-code AI agents.
- 23 hours training with online modules, face-to-face sessions, and projects.
- Program targets India’s AI skill gap; includes funding and industry exposure.
The Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi has collaborated with Nagent AI to introduce a hybrid upskilling program designed to empower professionals to develop and operate AI agents without requiring coding expertise.
The program integrates educational support with industry-relevant resources, seeking to close India’s AI skill gap by providing a quicker, more convenient route to practical AI implementation.
As per a statement from the institute, the initiative is in line with India’s “AI for All” strategy, seeking to expedite AI solutions from research to market. It is anticipated to support various sectors, such as healthcare, supply chain, and customer service, by facilitating quick deployment of AI agents and shortening traditional upskilling periods from months to just a few weeks.
The program includes 23 hours of training featuring a combination of online modules and face-to-face sessions at the IIT Mandi TIH campus. Registration ends on August 30, 2025, and participation is limited to 30 spots. The cost is comprehensive, and the program is available for employed individuals looking to acquire practical skills in developing AI agents.
The programme includes topics such as agent orchestration, collaboration among agents, agentic prompting, and proprietary data grounding through a no-code RAG pipeline.
Participants will collaborate on capstone projects guided by industry professionals from Nagent AI and academic mentors from IIT Mandi TIH. Students will also obtain access to numerous AI models, RAG pipeline tools, and production-level deployment features via Nagent AI’s platform.

The announcement from the institute references studies indicating that India may encounter a deficit of more than one million AI experts by 2027, as AI job vacancies are predicted to hit 2.3 million. The initiative seeks to meet the need from businesses for quick AI implementation and assist medium-sized companies in tackling skill gaps.
The no-code AI platform industry is projected to increase from $4.9 billion in 2024 to $24.8 billion by 2029, leading to a need for user-friendly AI solutions.
Upon finishing the course, participants can engage in enterprise projects through Nagent AI’s community or develop AI agents for their companies. Chosen projects can qualify for funding of up to Rs 1 crore via IIT Mandi TIH’s “Call for Innovation” initiative, as well as chances for industry exposure and certification.
