JEE Advanced 2026 Schedule Out: Registration April 23

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, has released the schedule for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2026. Registration will begin on April 23, 2026, and the exam is scheduled for May 17 in two sessions: from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (Paper 1) and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm (Paper 2).

Candidates can sign up at the official site jeeadv.ac.in. The registration period for JEE Mains qualified candidates will take place from April 23, 2026 (10 am) to May 2, 2026 (11:59 pm). For foreign nationals and OCI/PIO (F) candidates, direct online registration will commence on April 6, 2026. The final deadline to submit the registration fee is May 4, 2026.

The candidates' response copies will be published on the official website on May 21, while the provisional answer key will be available on May 25, 2026 (10 am). Candidates may submit objections to the answer key from May 25 until May 26 (5 pm). The ultimate answer key and results are set to be revealed on June 1, 2026.

The Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) 2026 process is provisionally set to begin on June 2, 2026 (5 pm). Candidates ranking within the top 250,000 successful candidates (across all categories) in the B.E./B.Tech. Section of JEE (Main) 2026 are eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced 2026 examination.

The Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) enrollments will be handled from June 1 (10 am) to June 2 (5 pm), the examination is scheduled for June 4, and the outcome will be announced on June 7, 2026 (5 pm). The Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) is an essential entrance exam for B.Arch programs at top IITs (Kharagpur, Roorkee, BHU Varanasi), necessitating a previous qualification in JEE Advanced. Students can take the JEE Advanced examination twice a year.
