In a notification dated September 29, the NTA advised candidates to verify that their Aadhaar card, UDID card (for individuals with disabilities), and category certificates (EWS/ SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL) are current and valid before completing the JEE Main 2026 application form. This stage aims to prevent inconsistencies or denials in the later phases of the admission process.

The advisory emphasizes that the Aadhaar card must include correct information, such as the candidate’s name, date of birth (according to the Class 10 certificate), photograph, address, and father’s name.In the same way, applicants with disabilities need to verify that their credentials are current, valid, and renewed as necessary. Candidates from the reserved categories must ensure their certificates are up-to-date and meet the necessary criteria.
