B-Schools sprung up in hundreds to support India's economic boom and IT revolution. The colonization of higher education in India by MBA programs occurred when economic reform measures were adopted by India in early 1990s. A sea of changes in the way businesses and commercial activities were conducted in the country providing favorable conditions for management education in the home soil.
