Striving to be a Change-bringer
When asked about the inception story of the institute, Deepak says, "We are based in Chennai and what we intend to do is to offer a great platform for our students to leverage their growth opportunities. My photography career started way back when I was very young with a handy-cam

that my dad bought for me. I was self-taught and everyone liked my work and still I was one of the most critical of my work. I was constantly trying to learn how to improve my skills and be a better photographer. I was also trying to understand what people like and achieve that consistently.

I started the academy with one person who asked me to teach him about photography, right from the basics to the advance concepts. That person today is my main cinematographer and photographer for all our premium projects. Also, for our projects, we don't hire anyone from outside and we only hire our students from the institute. Our students will get lifelong support with the community I have created and the students who have taken higher level programs with us also have the opportunity to continue their journey with us".

BOX Photography Academy has created a well-curated program portfolio which includes multiple programs that cater to the needs of someone who is just entering the world of photography to someone who wants to finetune his/her craft. Keeping the needs of the students, in mind, the institute also ensures that the courses that they offer are able to provide the best value for money education to their students.
