As a part of Choithram Charitable Trust the Choithram College of Nursing was established in 1970, by Sh. Thakur Dasji Pagarani who established the trust in loving memory of his late father, Late Sh. Choithram Vishan Dasji Pagarani The institute is a NAAC accredited institution with B++ Grade and has been a guiding light in level of nursing education being imparted in the country. The institute is running with the enormous support of chairman and management team – Shri Satish Motiani.

Course & Infrastructure Offerings
In order to preserve its distinction, CCON offers nursing courses at the bachelor's and master's levels as well as nurse-led programs like Healthy Mother Healthy Baby Cell (Antenatal & Postnatal Counseling) and MDBI (Multidisciplinary Behavior Intervention Unit).

These are the incubator facilities that assist students in improving their individual clinical exposure while also helping them build leadership skills. The college aims at the holistic development of the students and offers rich clinical experience, promotes student involvement in research projects, and conferences. Furthermore, to enable all students to achieve good quality education, CCON also has a strong scholarship system in place which qualifying students can benefit from.

In addition to incredible focus on the academic offerings, CCON also focuses heavily on infrastructural offerings to create an all-round growth promoting environment. ICT enabled classrooms, clinical learning and community learning facilities, skill labs, advanced auditoriums, seminar halls, and computer labs are some more offerings of the college. Furthermore, to ensure an all-round development of the students, the college also hosts a number of cultural and sports events and activities to promote participation in extracurricular activities.

Additionally, the students also participate in various state and national level competitions under the banner of the Student Nurses Association.

CCON emphasizes on the impact of the quality of education being imparted to the students, and as such, the college has developed a unique pedagogical approach. The faculties of CCON are highly qualified, experienced in their respective field. Mind Mapping, E-learning, Simulation-based learning, and learning by doing are the different instructional approaches undertaken by the faculty members. To ensure that the faculty members are also up to date with their fields, the college also organizes multiple faculty development programs like the Clinical Implication of Nursing Process, Faculty Training on Using game, Sample in Research and Heartfulness Meditation.

In order to ensure strong placements for the students, the college also has collaborations with multiple industrial entities including IGNOU NHM, MPMSU, ICMR, and NQOCN for various research projects and CCONaffiliated to MPMSU & MPNRC.
