Having a similar motive, Sister Nivedita School of Allied Health Sciences and Translational Research has been developing a community of learners that is based on quality faculty research, effective teaching pedagogy, and creating an enquiring student population.

School of Allied Health Science and Translational Research under Sister Nivedita University has been training young minds in its various department such as Microbiology, Biotechnology and Applied Nutrition and Dietetics, Para Medical Courses, Nurshing, Pharmacy and Psychology for years. The university encourages the students for participating in Student Exchange Programmes in these top brands and also motivates them to work on various research projects while they are studying which further helps the students to learn the practical aspect of the theory that they are taught in their classes and working on these projects gives them an extra mileage during placements where they are in a better position than their counterparts.

Being a research driven organization, it is quite natural to have multiple collaborations and partnerships with hospitals and research organisations. The university even has collaborations with other soft skill development partners to develop skill like data analysis and data mining so that when an opportunity comes to students for internships they not only perform well but also go ahead and convert that opportunity into Pre-Placement Offers (PPO).

Sister Nivedita School of Allied Health Sciences and Translational Research emphasized on developing employability skill of students so that not only the students will they get placed, but also can approach the university any time for academic or non-academic support. Placements are all in the top brands of the country, last year the M.Sc. students received opportunities for Ph.D. in Okayama University with full scholarships through Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). Students also received respected training fellowships by International Institute of Innovation, Kolkata.

Life Sciences is the most emerging course in our country especially after this pandemic. In the future Life Science will collaborate itself with numerous disciplines and will evolve as the most sought course of the future, its horizon will expand to almost all fields including the cyber domain.
