Dasmesh Girls College, an eternal link in the immortal chain of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Education Trust, Chak Alla Baksh, Mukerian was established in 2001 and got affiliation in 2006 from Panjab University, Chandigarh and accredited `A' Grade by NAAC, Bangalore and also honoured with Best NSS Unit Award in 2018. The college is also ranked at 10th position in Punjab and 53rd in India by `Education World' making it one of the best options for the girls to shape their future.

Dasmesh Girls College offers students to get admitted on the merit basis in Professional and Traditional courses like B.B.A., B.C.A., B. Com, B.Sc.(N.M), B.Sc(Med.) and P.G Courses. Also, special facilities are provided to the students belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled and economically weaker sections of the community in order to give them equal opportunities.

Here, the students are taught about art forms such as drawing, painting, sculpture, crafts, print making, photography, design in jewellery, pottery, weaving, fabrics and many more through visual art. There are various programs organized by the institution to provide the students with vital information regarding Warli, Fabric, Portrait and Madhubani Painting.

Dasmesh Girls College believes that curriculum plays a very important role in getting good placement The college has established a Career Counseling and Placement Cell which is responsible for giving the students exposure to job fairs and this cell also supports for off Campus placements. To make the students aware of the all the scope of jobs in the competitive world and to clear their doubts, the college organizes extension lectures for the placement of students. The college has also come up with an idea of bringing up a scheme called `Earn while you learn' which provides the students with employment opportunities. Every year maximum students are placed in different companies like Wipro, Medicity and others. The college even provides a conducive environment for the students to prepare for the competitive examinations, many students are thus excelling in Government sector as well as they are successfully clearing exams and getting into banking sector, Police service and teaching profession.
