GITAM Hyderabad Business School is a Deemed University accredited by NAAC with A+ and has developed into a premier university in AP, Telangana, and Karnataka. The institute has Multi-campus and multi-faculty institutions spread over three campuses with 17 institutes, 12 disciplines, 52 departments, and ten research centers. It offers 190 UG, PG, Doctoral, and other programs in diverse fields such as Engineering & Technology, Management, International Business, Life sciences, Pharmacy, Social Sciences, Physical sciences, Arts & Humanities, Languages, Law, and Medicine.

In the School of Management, GITAM has also included Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) as one of the electives. The subject gains further significance when combined with Marketing as in the current scenario. These two functions work incredibly close to addressing the industry demand. GITAM has collaborated with Logistics Sector Skill Council to

introduce an apprenticeship-based program at the UG level. This method creates a strong base for students who choose it as an elective at the PG level and want to build a career in the sector.

Adding more about the courses the institute offers, Karunakar B, who is the Director of the institute, says, "GHBS offers two years MBA Program, three years UG Program (BBA, B. Com) and Ph.D.in Management. The emphasis has been on academia-industry collaboration and leveraging it for preparing business leaders for tomorrow. Our pedagogy encompasses a wide range of co-curricular and extracurricular activities and frequent interactions with top executives from the industry. Our PG Programs include MBA (Dual Specialization), UG Programs in BBA, BBA (Business Analytics), BBA with CIMA, B.Com (Hons) with ACCA, BBA (Financial Markets), and Research Programs as well.

We have MoUs with CIMA (Certified Institute of Management Accountants), ACCA, NSE Academy, Institutional Memberships & Partnerships: CII, HMA, AIMA, AIMS, ISTD, NHRD, AMDISA, Northeastern University (Boston) Twinning Program with University of Nebraska (Omaha, USA). We have MoU with EGADE Business School (Triple Crown of AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) to promote academic cooperation and joint research with nodal faculty, seminar courses for students and FDPs for faculty. Our MoU with Wadhwani Foundation primed through the E-Cell at GHBS supports student entrepreneurs, startups and SMEs and encourages students to start their `Company on Campus'.

The E-Cell provides a platform to NEN Student Entrepreneurship Programs, Contemporary and innovative pedagogical practices of their well-qualified, experienced, and dedicated team of faculty members, congenial learning climate, rich inputs received from experts from industry through guest lectures, learning through `function-specific in-house workshops, organizing various co-curricular

and extra-curricular activities transforms their students to be future-ready and go-getters. The students are also exposed to SIPs where they gain experience in facing `Real-time Actionable Decision-Making situations' and `meeting the set targets".
