A university established with the approval of the Ministry of Education and also, sponsored by the People's Government of Henan Province, Huanghuai University (HU), is a full-time university with a wide range of courses. Huanghuai is one of the first 'Demonstrative Undergraduate Institutions of Applied Sciences' in Henan Province. The university has more than 21,000 students, pursuing full time higher education courses, also has 15 schools, and covers 46 undergraduate specialty areas. The HU is located in the city of

HU has achieved many major milestones such as the publication of the university, the Journal of Tianzhong, was rated as one of the 'Top 100 National Social Science Journals of Universities', 'Top 100 National Social Science Journals', and 'Core Journals of China Academic Journals of Humanities'. Adding to this the university has won many honorary titles like 'Best University for Serving the Central Plains Economic Zone Construction', 'Fastest Growing Institutions in Henan Province', 'Social Satisfactory Institution for Higher Education Quality in Henan Province', and '20 Recommendation-Worthy Educational Name Cards in Henan Province', and many more.
