Apart from conventional courses and programs, the institute also offers 65 Skill-based certification courses to the students. This centre is supported by Tata Technologies and Science and Technology Park, Pune. The institute has also created an active Entrepreneurship Cell to cultivate their students' start-up and entrepreneurial mindset.

In view of developments and achievements, the college was bestowed upon the prestigious 'BEST COLLEGE AWARD' by the University of Mumbai in 2013. In 2014, Higher Education Forum of India awarded the 'Certificate of Merit in Innovation' to the college. The college has received many prestigious grants from the Government of India in the recent past, which include FIST grant by Department of Science and Technology, STAR SCHEME grant and STAR STATUS from Department of Biotechnology, Component 8 grant for enhancing quality and excellence from Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan [MHRD].
