Affiliated to Anna University, the institute is decorated with 8 departments, in areas like Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Applications, and Science & Humanities, where a range of UG and PG programmes are been hosted. "Additionally, we render technical training for the students. Special incubation center has been opened called "TSH TECH SUPER HUB", where certification courses in IOT, ANDROID, JAVA, EMBEDDED, CADD, and so on, are conducted by industry experts," pinpoints K. Loganathan. In fact, the faculty members not only follow but also impart the prescribed curriculum. The institute takes the extra effort to invite employers as guest speakers and develop case studies with their help so that those can be later used as learning materials.

This leads the Placement Cell to prepare the students from the very beginning by giving them training in Aptitude, Soft skill, Technical, conducting mock interviews and so on. K. Loganathan says, "In-house training is arranged by our college placement trainers and the out-house training are taken care by FACE academy. Notably, we have associated with "Veltech Auto Parts Pvt Ltd-Chennai" for providing assistance in industrial training and internship opportunities for the mechanical students."

Enabling the students to perform exceptionally well in the written examination while they attend their placement drives, the Institute on every week organizes tests under the direct supervision of the placement coordinators, faculty members, and the management. The major recruiters that have been over the years recruiting the groomed and knowledgeable graduates of NPSBCET includes Tech Mahindra, IBM, Kaar Technologies, HCL, Accurate Steel Forging, Decathlon, Amazon, HTC, to name a few.
