Over the past couple of decades, many educational institutions have been mushrooming in the country which operates with a business motive and these institutions have little to no regard for the future of the students. Acknowledging this rapid decline in the quality of education offered by many institutions, Pasha College of Education was established to address these issues right from the roots. A unit of the Pasha Educational Trust, Pasha College of Education is a non-profit organization run by the prominent Pasha Family of Hyderabad.

The institute is affiliated to Osmania University which is one of the oldest Universities with 5-star NAAC accreditation and the college is recognized by The National Council for Teacher Education which prescribes the curriculum to be followed. Pasha College operates with a vision to shape professional teachers to promote a higher quality of education being imparted to school children and to conquer the present and future challenges pertaining to rote learning among the younger generation.

The institute is imparting B.Ed. degree course studies since the last 20 years and owing to the quality of their training and the success of their students, they have created an elite reputation among both the students and other educational institutions. The curriculum at Pasha College of Education is delivered in four semesters with pedagogical subjects like Philosophy, Psychology, Information Technology, Sociology, Contemporary Education, Environmental Education, Inclusive Education and methodology subjects like English, Social Sciences, Physical Science, Mathematics, Biological Science, Telugu, Hindi and Urdu languages. Also, the curriculum is designed meticulously in a systematic manner to train students in two common pedagogical subjects and two methodology subjects chosen with respect to their graduation majors with courses in dramatics and various art, sports and Indian dance forms.

Emphasis on Practical Knowledge
To stand apart from the rest, Pasha College of Education goes an extra mile and offers their students with valuable practical training. Apart from the
theoretical knowledge imparted during the classroom interaction by the Asst. Professors and Sr. Lecturers, the students are equipped with PowerPoint presentations, field experiences related to the topics and case studies prepared by the students.

The students are also exposed to four sessions in the schools allotted to the college for our students to get experience with real-life teaching. Pasha College of Education also has experienced faculty which have decades of experience in teaching and the staff members of the college have the requisite qualifications of NET/ SLET which is UGC mandatory. They are recruited by the college and appointed after going through an interview with Osmania University appointed panel of professors which includes a subject expert.

As far as the placement of their students is concerned, Pasha College of Education has counselling sessions that are conducted as part of the curriculum in the final semester of the course to make their students understand the importance of a career. Students are also trained to appear and qualify in competitive examinations such as TET and CTET. With all this effort, Pasha College of Education is hoping that the student teachers of today would enrich the society with their knowledge to build a strong nation of people who are committed to service with socialist and secular values without any prejudice to colour and race.
