Providing nursing students with comprehensive theoretical and practical learning, Sree Narayana Nursing College (SNNC) started journey in Chinthareddypalem, Nellore. The designed curriculum sharpens the critical thinking skills, stimulates scientific inquiry, and develops effective practice culture among the aspiring nurses in a clinical setup. After learning at SNNC, the students attain impeccable skills to nurture the healthcare attention needs. Some of the adopted academic measures taken by SNNC include conferences, workshops and regular visits of renowned healthcare professionals. The college offers prominent library supporting the education needs of the students. In addition to this, a multipurpose healthcare center and emergency care unit, operation theaters (mock OT without patients), intensive care units, central sterile supply department promote practical skill enhance of the students.

Subscription to weekly and monthly journals is done for updating the students/faculties on latest nursing practices. Affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, SNNC has included a four year undergraduate degree course, which is the B.Sc. Nursing course and a two year Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course." Learning becomes easy for students at SNNC. In an unmatched technically sound environment with world class infrastructure, a group of well qualified faculty imparts holistic nursing education. Students learn at a stimulating environment and get hands-on training. Senior faculty members of nursing supervise the learning hours at the college and at Narayana Super Specialty Centre.

paced military nursing, aeronautical nursing, schools, nursing management, hospital administration and ambulatory care settings. At present, the nursing sector has evolved as one of the most sought after professions at global where nursing graduates are not limited to working at any hospital based inpatient care units. SNNC is managed by Narayana Educational Society, where the society's works is headed by a managing committee headed by the President K. Puneet. He says, "Through the beliefs that nurses play the key role after doctors in healthcare centers, at SNNC we have imbibed a dynamic learning environment that uplifts the spirit of community serving by preparing nurses as an agent for social healing. Narayana Educational Society's main objective revolves around the healthcare needs of individuals for which the faculties render high quality education by educational institutions like technical, medical, dental, nursing, engineering, paramedical courses and all other health care sciences, ITI, B.Ed., Training Institutions, and Technical & Health Training Centers. Formed without profit making motives and involving non-commercial activities, the society is able to create and develop goodwill, co-operation and friendship for peace, solidarity and fit mind for work to achieve social and educational objectives.

With a total of 6 equipped labs having simulators for practices of all procedures to attain proficiency and expertise, SNNC has active NSS Unit for upgrading nurses as a changing element. The labs are decorated with latest equipment. Students learn C.P.R from the faculties and then under computer monitoring. Simulators for episiotomy and episiotomy suturing experience are given to students. In the nutrition lab, students gain experience for charting out special diets and sick diets for particular disease conditions. Under the SNA unit of SNNC, students participate in cultural and sporting activities. Students also partake in national level conferences at competitive level. Aligning the students to research based education, SNNC give students projects as part of their curriculum. Even the faculty members contribute through

independent research activities and publish successful research works. Till date, the faculties have 79 publications under their name.

Clinical tour to Narayana Super Specialty Centre (parent hospital for Sree Narayana Nursing College) gives excellent practical experience to the students. Students witness treatments to all age group patients having different health problems. The departments where the students get clinical tour are General Medicine, Pediatrics, TB & RD, DVL, Psychiatry, Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Cardiology, Medical Gastro, Nephrology, Neurology, Neuro Surgery, Urology, Surgical Gastro, Plastic Surgery & Burns, ICU, ICCU, Emergency & Trauma, Dialysis, OT, CSSD and Radiology Lab.

Available for housing is a hostel adjacent to the college premise is provided to the students. The students stay in a homely atmosphere under stringent supervision. To spent leisure time, indoor and outdoor gaming facility is there for the students. Capping ceremony, Lighting ceremony, Parting carnival, Sree Narayana Nakshtra Galaxy and National days celebration for developing leadership qualities and personality enhancement is a common custom at SNNC. Overall, the students get individual care for skill augmentation with faculties conducting uniform council sessions.
