In 2011, Clinto Thomas completed his B-Tech undergraduate degree and was desperately searching for a job. Disappointed and dejected, he was wary of his future. When his friend heard of his plight, he asked him to go to TecSaCon, a training company which will provide him the necessary skill sets in the mainframe domain and at the same time provide placement assistance. Clinto applied for the IBM Mainframe training program and on its completion was able to secure a job with AnjanaSoft Solutions.

Established in 2010, TecSaCon Technologies is an emerging IT Consulting Company operating in multiple sectors such as Training, Staffing Solutions and Consultancy. "Like Clinto, we noticed that a lot of fresh graduates were not able to get jobs since they did not possess the necessary skill sets in the mainframe sector and we decided to present them with the same," says V. Ramamoorthy, Managing Director, TecSaCon.

While the institute has seen a lot of candidates who have just completed their graduation sign up for the IBM Mainframe Training program, the other programs such as Java, Dot Net & Testing training has also seen a significant number of takers. The institute also provides corporate trainings where subjects such as IBM Mainframe, AIX, AS400, TIVOLI, Networking, Oracle and others are covered.

TecSaCon ensures that its trainers, who are more than 200 in number are all certified and are experts in the mainframe and middleware domain. The institute has made it mandatory to have at least a single trainer who is an expert in each of the 40 plus technologies that it primarily focuses on. In doing so, whenever personnel of any company require training in any one of the technologies, they can approach the trainer who has knowledge in the specific technology and acquire the skills. Through a live project, trainees are given the necessary exposure which will enhance their skills. The institute provides 100 percent placement assistance and also provides its trainees unlimited lab access until they get placed. The institute has clients such as Informatica, Mindtree, IBM, TPF Software, Anjanasoft and others who have obtained the institute's services and at the same time recruited candidates when there were openings. "Despite being an emerging institute, we have acquired a good number of clients. However, we hope to grow further and take the institute to new heights and at the same time ensure that we are able to give our trainees the best trainings and placements possible," concludes Ramamoorthy.
