Beginning his career journey as a school teacher and later emerged as one of the renowned educationists of the country, the lifetime of Late S. Narasa Raju revolved around the cause of education followed by leaving an incredible footprint on the Indian education landscape. Marking the foundation of a new era of education, he established the Educational Institutions in the year 1974 under the aegis of Children's Education Society (Regd.). Today, The Oxford Educational Institutions existing for over four decades in the education arena have evolved as a beacon for knowledge seeker across the world. The immense growth has witnessed attributes to the leadership and guidance of Narasa Raju and S. N. V. L Narasimha Raju, the President of Children's Education Society (Regd.).

Currently it is providing premier education to more than 20,000 students in the network of 30 Institutions including more than 85 academic streams. It is a living testimony of S Narasa Raju's indomitable will, single-minded dedication and an unrelenting commitment to his goals. Regarded as one of the flagships of the Oxford Group of Institutions, The Oxford College of Pharmacy was conceptualized in the year 1992 to render scholarly environment to the prospective pharmacy students along with maintaining strong industry links. Initially the institution was offering the only Diploma in Pharmacy and Bachelor of Pharmacy programmes, now the institute covers a wide range of
courses viz. Master of Pharmacy with specialization in Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology & Pharmaceutics coupled with Pharm. D and Pharm. D Post Baccalaureate programmes.

Nestled in the Hongasandra campus at Bangalore, The Oxford College of Pharmacy is built on 1.5-acre land, where Hi tech facilities and infrastructure have been encompassed. Right from ventilated lecture halls and state-of-the-art laboratories, drug museum to seminar halls and hostels to English language lab and central library. The institute never lets the students to face any difficulties or scarcity inside the campus. "Further, for simplifying the stay of students at the institute, an extension counter of Vijaya Bank is located and a fleet of buses is at the disposal of the students and faculty for industrial site visits". Experienced and competent faculty members who never hesitate in
