IBPS Recruitment 2026 Opens for Three Posts, Apply by Nov 12

IBPS opens applications for Server Administrator, Assistant and Programming Assistant posts in Mumbai. Eligible candidates with relevant qualifications and work experience can apply online by November 12, 2026.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has invited applications for regular appointments to the posts of Server Administrator, Assistant and Programming Assistant. The recruitment drive, announced under Advertisement No. IBPS/2026-27/06, offers opportunities for eligible candidates with technical, administrative and data-handling experience.

The positions are based at the IBPS office in Kandivali (East), Mumbai. Online registration and fee payment began on October 29, 2026, and will close on November 12, 2026. The notification does not specify the total number of vacancies.

For the Server Administrator post, candidates must hold a B.E. or B.Tech degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent discipline. At least three years of relevant work experience, including Linux server administration and network management, is required. The age limit is 25 to 33 years as of October 1, 2026.

Candidates applying for the Assistant post must possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks, advanced MS Excel skills and a minimum of two years of relevant experience in areas such as data validation, management information systems or clerical work. Applicants must be between 23 and 30 years old.

For the Programming Assistant position, eligible qualifications include a B.Sc. in Information Technology or Computer Science, a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), or a B.E. or B.Tech degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. Candidates must have at least two years of relevant experience in UNIX or Linux applications and data handling. The prescribed age range is 23 to 30 years.

The Server Administrator position offers approximate monthly remuneration of ₹73,020, with an annual cost to company (CTC) of around ₹14.09 lakh. The Assistant and Programming Assistant posts offer approximately ₹54,210 per month, with an annual CTC of around ₹10.57 lakh.

Selected candidates will be posted in Mumbai. Preference will be given to candidates residing in the city, and IBPS will not provide accommodation. Appointees must also sign a two-year service bond of ₹1 lakh, as specified in the recruitment conditions.

The selection process includes application shortlisting, document verification, an online examination and a personal interview. The online examination is scheduled for November 2026 and will be conducted in English at IBPS, Mumbai.

The examination comprises 100 questions carrying 100 marks, with duration of 90 minutes. A negative marking of 0.25 marks applies for each incorrect answer. Candidates must achieve the prescribed minimum qualifying scores in the examination to proceed through the selection process. Travel and accommodation expenses will not be reimbursed.

Candidates must pay an application fee of ₹250 through the online payment facility. Applicants should complete the payment within the registration period and retain the transaction receipt for future reference.

Eligible candidates should visit the official IBPS website or the direct recruitment portal and open Advertisement No. IBPS/2026-27/06. They must register using a valid email address and mobile number, complete the online application, and enter their educational qualifications and work experience.

Applicants must also upload the prescribed photograph, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration and supporting documents. After paying the application fee, candidates should submit the form and retain a printed copy for their records. The last date to submit the application and pay the fee is November 12, 2026.
