The Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR (SDSC SHAR), under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), is inviting applications for various scientific, technical, and administrative roles.
Managed by the ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB), these vacancies span multiple disciplines and locations, offering opportunities for eligible candidates to contribute to India’s space program.
The recruitment includes Technical Assistant positions in chemical (4 posts), mechanical (11 posts), automobile, electrical, civil, computer science, and electronics & communication engineering, with roles at Sriharikota and Rasayani. Several posts are reserved for persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD). Scientific Assistant roles, under Level 7 of the Pay Matrix (Rs 44,900–1,42,400), require a first-class B.Sc. degree in chemistry, computer science, or fine arts/visual arts, with positions at Sriharikota and Rasayani.
Library Assistant ‘A’ and Radiographer ‘A’ each offer one PwBD-HH backlog post at Sriharikota, requiring a graduate degree and a first-class Master’s in Library Science or equivalent. Technician ‘B’ roles cover trades such as chemical (13 posts), fitter (21 posts), electrician, refrigeration & air conditioning, and more, with opportunities at Sriharikota, Rasayani, and other centres. Draughtsman ‘B’ includes civil draughtsman posts at Sriharikota and Secunderabad, while support staff roles such as cook (3 posts), fireman (6 posts), light vehicle driver (3 posts), and nurse (1 post) are also available.

Eligibility for technical and scientific roles includes a Diploma, B.Sc., or equivalent, while technician and draughtsman positions require SSLC/SSC/Matric with ITI/NTC/NAC certifications. Candidates from the unreserved category must be under 35 years. Selection involves a written test, with a qualifying skill test, and final merit based on written test scores.
