North Western Railway Recruitment 2026 Opens for 2,008 Posts

North Western Railway invites applications for 2,008 apprentice training positions for 2026–27. Class 10 and ITI-qualified candidates can apply by November 22, with selection based on merit and no written examination.

The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Western Railway (NWR), Jaipur, has opened applications for 2,008 Act Apprentice training positions for the 2026–27 training year. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official recruitment website. The recruitment drive is being conducted under Notification No. 04/2026, with the application deadline set for November 22, 2026.

The vacancies are distributed across railway divisions and workshops in Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaipur and Jodhpur. Candidates interested in railway apprenticeship training should review the official notification for trade-wise vacancies and eligibility requirements before applying.

Applicants must have passed Class 10 from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate marks. They must also hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).

The prescribed age limit is 15 to 24 years as of November 22, 2026. Applicable age relaxations are available for eligible reserved-category candidates under the recruitment rules.

Candidates in the unreserved, Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories must pay an application fee of ₹100. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), persons with disabilities and women are exempt from the fee.

The selection process does not include a written examination. Instead, the recruitment cell prepares a merit list based on candidates’ Class 10 and ITI marks. Shortlisted applicants must complete document verification and other prescribed formalities before final selection.
