RRB JE 2025 Application Deadline Extended, More Vacancies

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has extended the ongoing recruitment process for the roles of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). According to the revised RRB JE schedule, candidates can finalize their online application submissions by December 10 at 11:59 pm.
Additionally, the deadline for submitting application fees has been extended to December 12, 2025, providing applicants with additional time to complete the process. The Boards have announced an increase in job vacancies at Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala, through RRB Jammu–Srinagar, and Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, via RRB Chennai, raising the total count of job openings in the ongoing recruitment drive from 2,569 to 2,588.
To support applicants, a revision window has been set from November 25 to December 10, 2025, allowing registered candidates to revise their chosen RRB, job options, zonal railways, and production units. However, changes are confined to the selected RRB. A second paid modification phase will be available from December 13 to 22, 2025, during which account details and the originally selected RRB cannot be altered.

Candidates with disabilities requiring a scribe must submit their scribe details through their respective RRB portals between December 23 and 27, 2025. A Railway official informed that the NTPC 2025 results will be revealed by the following week. Applicants need to stay vigilant, as the RRB NTPC result date for 2025 will be updated here once it is verified.
The CBT 1 test took place from June 5 to June 24 to recruit for several graduate-level roles in various RRB zones. A total of 2,177 candidates passed the CBT one exam. The CBT 2 examinations took place between August 7 and September 9. After the RRB NTPC results are released, they will feature the roll numbers of candidates who have passed to the subsequent stage of the recruitment process.
