AP LAWCET, PGLCET Counselling 2026 Final Phase Begins

Andhra Pradesh opens final-phase AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET 2026 counselling registration until October 28. Candidates can complete certificate verification, select college preferences and check seat allotment scheduled for November 4.

The Andhra Pradesh Higher Education Department has opened registration for the second and final phase of counselling for the Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) and Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (AP PGLCET) 2026. Eligible candidates can register online through the state's Common Admissions Portal (CAP) until October 28, 2026.

The final phase provides another opportunity for candidates who qualified in the entrance examinations but did not participate in the first counselling round or did not secure a seat. The counselling process covers admission to three-year and five-year Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programmes and postgraduate Master of Laws (LLM) courses at participating institutions across Andhra Pradesh.

Online registration and certificate uploading are open from October 26 to October 28, 2026. Online certificate verification continues until October 29. Registered candidates can exercise their web options, selecting and prioritising their preferred colleges and courses, from October 28 to October 30.

The window to edit web options is scheduled for October 31, while the final phase seat allotment result is expected on November 4. Candidates allotted seats must complete self-reporting and report to their respective colleges between November 5 and November 7, 2026.

The counselling registration fee is ₹1,050 for candidates in the general category and ₹550 for eligible Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and persons with disabilities (PwD) candidates.

Applicants should keep their date-of-birth proof, qualifying examination certificates, degree certificates and marks memos, study certificates, residence documents and applicable category or income certificates ready. The documents required depend on the course and the candidate's eligibility category.

Candidates should ensure that all submitted certificates are accurate and legible. If certificate verification identifies missing or incorrect information, applicants may need to upload corrected documents as directed by the authorities.
