BITS Law School opens applications for its five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons) programmes for the 2027 intake, offering five specialisations and a holistic admission process.

BITS Law School, Mumbai, under the aegis of BITS Pilani, has opened applications for its five-year integrated and fully residential law programmes for the 2027 intake. The school is inviting applications for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons) programmes.

The programmes are approved by the Bar Council of India and combine legal education with interdisciplinary learning in areas relevant to contemporary legal practice. Students can pursue specialisations including Technology & Media Law, Corporate & Financial Law, Entertainment & Sports Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution & Mediation, and Public Law & Theory.

The curriculum is designed to provide students with a foundation in core legal subjects while allowing them to explore emerging areas of law and related disciplines. The programmes are conducted at the BITS Pilani Mumbai Campus and follow a fully residential format.

Admissions will be conducted through the BITS Law Foundation Assessment (BLFA), which follows a holistic evaluation approach. The selection process considers candidates’ academic performance, scores in recognised law entrance examinations, extracurricular achievements, communication skills and performance in the personal interview.

The admission process therefore considers multiple aspects of a candidate’s profile rather than relying solely on an entrance examination score. Applicants can submit their academic and other relevant credentials as part of the selection process, with shortlisted candidates progressing through the subsequent assessment and interview stages.

The B.A. LL.B. (Hons) programme is intended to combine legal studies with a broader liberal-arts orientation, while the B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons) programme integrates legal education with business and management-oriented learning. Both programmes are structured as five-year integrated degrees, enabling students to complete their undergraduate and law education within a single programme.

BITS Law School has positioned the programmes around contemporary areas of legal practice, reflecting the growing intersection of law with technology, business, media, finance, sports and dispute resolution. The specialisation options allow students to develop focused knowledge alongside their core legal education.
