CLAT 2026 Registration Deadline Extended to November 7

The CLAT 2026 registration deadline has been extended to November 7, 2025, by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). Qualified applicants now have additional time to finish the online application procedure. According to the updated timetable, applications can be submitted until 11:59 PM via the official website — consortiumofnlus.ac.in

In its formal announcement, the Consortium mentioned, “The Executive Council of the Consortium of National Law Universities is pleased to announce the extension of the last date for submission of CLAT 2026 applications (for both UG and PG programmes).”  The updated final date, according to the announcement, is November 7, 2025 (Friday), up to 23:59 hours.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 is scheduled for December 7, 2025, from 2 PM to 4 PM and will take place in one shift nationwide.

Steps to register for CLAT 2026

- Select the link labeled ‘CLAT 2026 Registration’ on the main page.

- Sign up by providing the necessary personal and contact information.

- Sign in with the credentials created during the CLAT registration process.

- Complete the application form, submit the necessary documents, and pay the required fee.

- Review the details, submit the form, and download the confirmation page for future reference.

The national-level entrance test acts as the main entry point for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law courses at 25 National Law Universities (NLUs) across India.
