NFSU Opens 2027 Law Admissions Through CLAT Scores

NFSU will admit students to four law programmes for 2027–28 through CLAT UG and PG 2027 scores. University applications begin January 7, 2027.
The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) has announced that admissions to its School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies for the 2027–28 academic sessions will be based exclusively on scores from the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2027. The university will accept CLAT Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) scores for admission to its law programmes across selected campuses.
The online application process for NFSU admissions is scheduled to begin on January 7, 2027. Candidates seeking admission must register for the relevant CLAT examination and complete the entrance test application process within the deadline prescribed by the Consortium of National Law Universities.

For the 2027–28 academic session, NFSU plans to offer four law programmes across its campuses. The BSc LLB (Hons) in Data Science and Law will be available at the Gandhinagar campus, while the BBA LLB (Hons) programme will be offered at the Delhi campus.
At the postgraduate level, the university will offer LLM in Cyber Law and Cyber Crime Investigation at its Gandhinagar and Bhubaneswar campuses. The LLM in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice Administration will be available at the Gandhinagar and Delhi campuses.
These programmes bring together legal education and specialised areas connected with forensic science, cybercrime, criminal justice and emerging technologies. The CLAT 2027 examination is scheduled for December 6, 2026, from 2 pm to 4 pm. The Consortium of National Law Universities has extended the application deadline for both UG and PG examinations to November 7, 2026, at 11:59 pm.
Candidates who have already registered can also review their application details and update their test centre preferences within the correction window, which closes on November 10, 2026, at 11:59 pm.

Candidates must first register for the appropriate CLAT 2027 examination through the official Consortium website. After appearing for the examination, applicants seeking admission to NFSU can submit their university applications through the NFSU admission portal once registration opens on January 7, 2027.
Applicants should regularly visit the university's official website for programme-specific eligibility requirements, application instructions, seat details and admission updates. The university's decision to use CLAT scores for its law programmes provides candidates with a common entrance examination route for admission to its specialised undergraduate and postgraduate law courses.
