CAT 2026 Registration Ends Today: Check Application Process

CAT 2026 registration closes on September 15 at 5 PM, with IIM Indore conducting the exam on November 29. Eligible candidates must complete the online application and fee payment before the deadline.
Today, which is September 15, marks the last day when IIM Indore will close the application process for CAT 2026 at 5 PM. Candidates who have not yet applied should complete their process of registration, filling up the application form, and paying the application fee by the specified date. CAT 2026 exam will take place on November 29.
The registration procedure has taken place online through the official CAT portal. The candidates need to register themselves by creating their accounts based on their basic information. This process consists of entering their personal and academic information, entering category information, choosing the cities for taking the exam, submitting the required documents, and paying the application fee.

It is recommended that candidates go through all the information before filling out the application form. The candidates must also make sure that the documents they upload comply with the required standards and that they have paid the fees. Candidates are urged not to wait till the last minute since technical glitches or failure in making payments may hamper the process.
CAT 2026 is organized by IIM Indore and acts as an important entrance test for gaining admission into management courses provided by Indian Institutes of Management as well as some other business schools. This examination will be held in three slots in around 170 testing cities. The candidates have the choice to choose five testing cities from the application form itself.
CAT 2026’s registration process starts from August 3rd and ends on September 15th 5 PM. The admit card for CAT 2026 will be available from November 4th, and the exam will take place on November 29th. The results of CAT 2026 will be declared in January 2027.

As the date of the last submission comes near, candidates who are qualified to apply for an MBA degree but have not yet submitted their applications will need to fill out the form prior to the closure of the application portal. So far, no further extensions have been granted as of September 15.
