IIT Patna Opens EMBA Finance Admissions for Professionals

The Indian Institute of Technology Patna (IIT Patna) invites applications from graduates and working professionals for its two-year Executive MBA in Finance programme. The course is designed for professionals who want to strengthen their financial management expertise and advance their careers while continuing to work.

The programme focuses on key areas such as corporate finance, investment analysis, risk management and financial markets. It also covers strategic management, leadership and business ethics. IIT Patna faculty members and industry experts deliver the programme.

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university, with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA or CPI. The minimum qualifying requirement is relaxed to 45% for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories.

The programme is intended for working professionals with a minimum of two years of work experience. IIT Patna also provides an additional academic eligibility relaxation of 2.5 percentage points in marks, or 0.5 in CGPA or CPI, for each additional year of professional experience, subject to the applicable admission conditions.

The programme fee is Rs 87,500 per semester, according to the information reported by NDTV. Candidates are advised to check the latest fee structure and payment schedule on the official programme portal before applying.
