The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) has opened applications for its specialized law and public policy programmes for the 2026 academic year, offering aspiring students an opportunity to pursue advanced interdisciplinary courses at one of India’s premier institutions.

Prospective candidates can now apply for the LLB (Honours in Intellectual Property Law), LLM, and the Master’s in Public Policy, Law and Governance (MPPLG) programmes. The MPPLG is a two-year postgraduate degree that integrates public policy, legal studies, and governance, preparing students for leadership roles across government, industry, think tanks, and academia.
