Malaysia is home to numerous higher education institutions including foreign branches of renowned universities from countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Ireland. The education sector of the country has invariably received considerable budget allotment from the government which has strengthened its educational structure. As Malaysia becomes one of preferred destinations for pursuit of higher education, we have focused in its higher educational landscape in this special issue. The cover story of this issue features Monash University which is a member of Australia's prestigious Group of Eight (Go8), and is ranked 58th in the QS 2022 World University Rankings. Founded in 1958 in Australia, Monash University set up operations in Malaysia in 1998 after being invited by the Ministry of Education to contribute to an uplift of the Higher Education sector in the country. Monash University Malaysia is the third-largest campus of Australia's largest university and the first foreign university campus to be established in Malaysia. Also featuring in the issue is IPK College whose academic structure offers its learners numerous degrees (in collaboration with various universities) and diploma programmes, specially designed to meet the ever-evolving industry requirements. With over sixty-three international medals and stringent ISO norms, IPK College is one of fourteen MyQuest six-star colleges in Malaysia.
