Agile is one of the big buzzwords of the IT development industry, as it is a very invigorating approach. However, only some projects suit the agile methodology. Understanding the needs of trained people in this sphere, Niranjan Nerlige, an IIT graduate with decades of experience in the software industry, founded Exelplus Services with a vision of building Agile developing skills among the industry professionals.

The academy is now offering various Agile training and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification trainings. Niranjan, the chief faculty and founder, is the man behind these trainings, which include Scrum Project Management, Agile Project Management, PMI-ACP Certification Preparatory Courses and SAFe Certification Courses. To illustrate Agile and learn principles in an easily understandable manner, the classes are conducted in a customized manner, which are highly interactive with reality-based case scenarios, exercises, demonstrations, facilitated discussions, case studies, template examples and tools.

Exelplus Services came into being in 2010, it was one of the few companies in the country to offer trainings in SAFe Certification Courses such as SAFe Agilist (SA) Certification Program – Leading SAFe, SAFe Practitioner (SP) Certification Program – SAFe ScrumXP, SAFe ScrumMaster Quick Start and Agile Release Train Quick Start are flagship programs of this institute. The major beneficiaries of training and certification are executives and teams who want to understand Scaled Agile Practices for enterprises. All of these certifications are approved by Scaled Agile Academy. ExelPlus and the trainer Niranjan has the privilege of conducting first SAFe Agilist Certification Program to enable participants to become SAFe Agilists.

The activities of this academy are not limited to training. The academy has also proven expertise in Agile consulting and advisory services in the areas of Agile/Scrum Implementation and Scaled Agile for Enterprises (SAFe). As a result, the institute has managed to bag IT giants such as Flipkart, ABB, Excelacom, GE and several others as their regular clients. Niranjan is proud to say that he has trained more than 45 organizations and 2000 professionals who have benefitted from Agile methodology. "Our students are mostly software industry people with more than two years of experience and those who want to learn more about Agile practices. These also include project managers, Program Managers and Vice Presidents who would like to implement Agile frame work in their organization," says Niranjan.

Niranjan proudly proclaims, "Whether you are an executive focused on the implementation aspects of Agile, an Agile developer transitioning to the Scrum Master role, or a traditional project manager joining an Agile team, the programs of Exelplus can give insight and practical advice needed to achieve your goals." The realization of the fact that not every individual works at the same level, and to suit this, tailored courses to the needs of individual trainees make the institute a hit amongst its clientele.
