An Institute with a Global Outlook
In 2007, Lokendra Singh Pundir, a third year Electrical Engineering student from Rajasthan felt elated as he completed the rigorous procedure of campus placements. He acquired two placements in the same year. One was with a prominent IT company and other one was with a steel manufacturer. Unfortunately, luck was not with him. In 2008, the year when Lokendra Singh came out from the campus and ready to become a working professional, the market was under the threat of global economic crisis. He waited almost a year to receive a call from both of the companies. Finally, Lokendra Singh gave up and decided to do MBA, hoping that the market will have better prospects after two years. In 2009, he moved to Bangalore, to pursue MBA at ISME (International School of Management Excellence).
When Lokendra Singh joined ISME, the institute had already established as one of the premier B-Schools in India. The campus had already gained reputation for many quality aspects, especially in the faculty department. \"The major factor that drew me to ISME was their excellent pool of faculty. Most of the faculty were either from IIMs or had international exposure,\" remembers Lokendra Singh, who is currently working as a senior manager with City Bank.

People like Nitin Garg, Dr. Ramesh G. Tagat, Pallavi Jain, Dr Swaroop Reddy, Vivek Garg and Tanuj Garg are few among the founding members of the ISME. Unlike many founding members of famous B-Schools in India, who only look after the administration of the college, ISME founders are committed to their teaching career. They regularly take classes and guide the students on the right path. \"Be it Ramesh Tagat or Nitin Garg or any other faculty members, they were with us when we needed guidance,\" says Lokendra Singh, who likes to cherish every moment that he spent at ISME.
ISME\'s illustrious faculty has been trained from the top B-Schools in the world like CMU, Purdue, Wharton USA, Texas A&M, University of Philadelphia, IIMs, IITs and other top management schools. With these kinds of effort, ISME has developed an Indian- International culture within its campus. From infrastructure to MoUs with other international universities around the globe, one can evidently witness this effect.
Furthering this objective of providing international exposure to its students, ISME facilitates its students to go to London School of Economics and Political Science for their summer school programs. This program offers cutting-edge insights in major disciplines like Accounting and Finance, Economics, and other related Management areas. Besides offering excellent academic and practical subject insights, the student would also be participating in many social and fun activities arranged by London School of Economics outside the classroom. In short, it is an invaluable opportunity for ISME students to make this internationally acclaimed program an integral part of their career profile.
With these initiatives, ISME has managed to provide 100 percent placement assistance to its every graduating batch. Every year a number of top global companies select ISME students and at present, over 800 ISME alumni members are working in India and abroad in global companies. The institute\'s parent organization, NVT Quality Certification, is a worldwide quality certification body and thus quality in education is in its DNA. Nitin Garg - Director
He is the Director and one of the founding members of ISME. He did B.Tech and M.Tech from IIT - Bombay. Then he moved to the U.S. to pursue MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. Nitin also worked with one of the top consulting firms of the world, Deloitte Consulting in the U.S. for number of years before moving back to India. He was awarded the International Achievers Award for Education Excellence by Thai Entrepreneurs Summit in recognition for his efforts of establishing ISME as one of the leading business schools in India.
Dr Swaroop Reddy-Principal
Dr. Swaroop Reddy received his Master\'s from the Delhi School of Economics and a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University. He has over 25 years of experience in teaching, research and management consulting in the U.S. and in India, he has worked in various capacities with internationally reputed organizations and institutions such as the United Nations, New York, Booz.Allen & Hamilton, U.S.A., University of North Texas; Texas A&M University and Administrative Staff College of India, India.
