Right from day one the students are trained in the usage of various forms of Effective business communication, supported by effective use of appropriate technology, logical reasoning, and articulation of ideas. The institute believes management profession is a serious business but learning of business management must be fun and adventurous hence, IIBS has start edits training program with Management Orientation Module (MOM) for 15 to 30 days. During this intense training program, students are exposed to challenging and interesting activities to help them learn team building, business simulation games, and overcome their mental & physical fears. Students are encouraged to shun the negative thoughts & attitude and embrace the positive attitude. They are also trained to develop the positive attitude under any circumstances. They are exposed to leadership challenges and trained to be better manager and leaders, who take ownership and responsibility. Students are also sent to participate in various college competitions and festivals to learn to win. All departments conduct the seminar and webinars regularly so that they learn and act upon their wisdom. Workshops on Innovation, Research, Publication, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Digital economy are conducted on the campus. Discussions and debate are routine in their classes. While our students are very active academically, we also make them to join corporate body like NHRD for joining their monthly Human Resource meetings.

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) at IIBS was established with the goal of instilling, nurturing, and promoting an entrepreneurial spirit among our students. Our students were trained to participate in National Level Business Plan Competitions, including IIM Kozhikode and IIM Bangalore during AY 2019 and AY 2020, respectively.
