ISB Introduced Certificate Program in Manufacturing and Operations Management

The Indian School of Business (ISB) has introduced a one year Certificate Program in Manufacturing and Operations Management (CPMOM) and has welcomed a diverse group of 25 executives from around 20 of the top Manufacturing companies who have enrolled for it. These professionals represent companies including Essar Oilfield, Hero Motocorp, Ashok Leyland, Punj Llyod, Tata Motors, Cairn Energy, Forbes Marshal, Vardhaman, GM Faudler, Philips, Cap Gemini and Reliance Energy among others.

A formal ceremony was held at the ISB's Mohali campus to mark the inauguration of the program. Madhav Lal, Secretary, Ministry of MSME, the Chief Guest; Ajit Rangnekar, Dean, ISB and Pradeep Singh, CEO, Mohali Campus and Deputy Dean, ISB announced the formal inauguration of the Program. CPMOM is being offered under the aegis of the Munjal Institute of Global Manufacturing in association with the Center for Executive Education at ISB.

The Program has been created to meet the increasing need for techno-business managers in the rapidly growing manufacturing sector. Targeted at mid level professionals and SME entrepreneurs, it aims to train them for a better understanding of global business opportunities, to learn best practices and implement them.
