LNVM Society Group of Institutes trains their students with the help of industry experts as their faculty and prepares them for the industry and their career.
�The times are changing from when the students cared for the subject and wanted to learn everything about the field, to now when students want to know what kind of jobs they will get once they graduate,� says C. C. Ashoka, Founder and Director, LNVM Society Group of Institutes. Today, education has become a commodity with the institutions being turned into a business and students focused on the rat race of who gets the best job and the highest package. In a time where all the institutions are running behind the numbers and names, LNVM Society Group of Institutes, founded 23 years ago is focused on giving the students the best possible knowledge available on the subjects and the field. Providing quality education since 1992, the institution is known for producing skilled professionals with values and a sense of responsibility.
One thing that this institution is doing differently than any other institution is that they give more importance to the practical aspect of the teaching � learning process. The theory classes are followed up by a practical session in order to make the concepts clear and increase the retention level among students. A program such as aircraft maintenance is taught better with hands on training as the subject deals with areas where just the theory is not enough. With faculty strength of 56, all of whom are extremely skilled and qualified in their fields; the institute has been successfully providing courses in Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance and Mechatronics for a long time now.
Apart from providing additional practical classes, the institution also focuses on quality research work, which is why they have completed several projects so far without any external funding assistance. The students in the institution are currently involved in research projects such as the Fly by wire system and auto pilot system, both of which are self financed projects. The institute organizes regular seminars and symposiums related to research in order to keep the faculty and the students motivated and determined. The institution houses their own aircraft for training and demonstration purposes, which is an added advantage when it comes to explaining the subjects to the students.
When it comes to additional training for the jobs, the students are sent for a compulsory internship before they graduate where they learn all the basics of the jobs they will do in the future. The students are sent for a period of six months after which they come back and graduate from the institute, making them industry ready professionals by the time they step out. The students have completed their internships with reputed organizations such as Air India, Instrulabs and Sky high aviation.
The institute also has a separate language training cell for English and foreign languages, students get to learn foreign languages while in the institute which is an added bonus when it comes to the aviation industry. Students who are weak in communication skills are given special focus by the trainers and by the end of their classes they are fluent and confident about their language skills. The same cell also handles the personality development training, which also is a very important part of the aviation industry. Just because the institute focuses on instilling the best subject knowledge in their students doesn�t mean the institute lacks in other facets of educational experience. The students from LNVM are working in 200 plus aviation companies throughout the globe. With several companies recruiting form the institution every year due to their quality performance, the major recruiters of the institution are Air India, Qatar Airways and Indigo.
The establishment also has an entrepreneurship development cell through which they encourage their students to take their first step towards the entrepreneurial world. The institute helps the students get started with their incubation center and also provides them help with acquiring their first funding. As an institution providing courses in an unconventional manner, LNVM has created their brand in the aviation industry and continues to move forward with the same enthusiasm and discipline that they began with.
