Stanley Medical College, Chennai is one of the oldest medical colleges in India. The college offers various courses in medical sciences, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. The institute is associated with the Government Stanley Hospital and trains the students in the hospital too. The MBBS course starts with the basic pre-clinical subjects such as biochemistry, physiology, anatomy, microbiology, pathology and pharmacology.
